Festive Harmony: The Merchants House Christmas Concert 2024

The Merchants House hosted its much-loved Christmas Concert on Monday, 2nd December 2024. The Lord Dean, Andrew McFarlane, and Vice Dean, Donald Carmichael, were in attendance. Guests were welcomed with refreshments and there was plenty of lively conversation as everyone caught up with one another.

After an introduction by the Lord Dean, the highlight of the evening was a delightful performance by the choir from St. Denis’ Primary School, Dennistoun. Their repertoire included timeless carols and cheerful festive songs that had everyone in the holiday spirit. The children added extra charm to the event with a mini nativity scene, and there was even a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting our charitable initiatives. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, and to the wonderful children and staff of St. Denis’ for bringing so much joy to the occasion. We hope you enjoy these photos capturing the magic of the evening.
