“This award has enabled the Glasgow Group of the Riding for the Disabled to deliver its Equine Therapy Sessions for the year to the end of June 2019, thus benefiting over 400 adults and children across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The Physical benefits offered by our Equine Therapy Sessions Improve Fitness, Posture, Core Strength and Muscle Tone.

The Pyschological benefits are a huge sense of achievement , ability and empowerment. On a social aspect our centre is often used by carers for much needed respite time, and time to relax.”

Glasgow Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association were awarded £2,000 in 2019.
