Join Us for Doors Open Day 2022
The Glasgow Doors Open Day Festival gives visitors the chance to learn more about the architecture and design of buildings, their purpose within the city, and the people who frequented them over the years.
We are delighted to be taking part again this year and hope you can join us.
Doors Open Day at the House will be on Saturday 17th September between 10am and 3pm with the last entry at 2.30pm.
Visitors can enjoy the architecture of the Victorian building and the stunning stained glass windows. They’ll be able to look around the Grand Hall, Director’s Room and the Cloakroom. Artefacts dating back to the 1800’s, including the original wooden door of the House will be on display.
Visitors can learn about the role of The Merchants House today, the international conferences and events we host, and the charities across Glasgow and the West of Scotland who benefit from our grant awards programme.
Refreshments will be offered and visitors are welcome to make a donation to our charity should they wish.
Booking is not required and the event is completely free. We hope you can join us on Saturday 17th September between 10am and 3pm with last entry at 2.30pm.
Please note that only some areas of The Merchants House are wheelchair accessible.
