Members enjoy a spectacular light show at the Merchants House
On the 19th February, some fortunate Merchants House members had the opportunity to experience The Grand Hall in a whole new way, attending an exclusive performance of Enlightenment: An Immersive Light Show.
This 30-minute audio-visual spectacle, set to the enchanting music of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, brings the changing seasons to life through stunning 360-degree projections. Advanced video-mapping technology was used to create the show, offering a truly unique experience of the venue.

Over 100 members and guests attended the special performance, with proceeds from the evening going to Glasgow Street Aid. Over £1,600 was raised, with John Barclay, Head of Service at the charity, saying “Enlightenment was not just a captivating performance but also a testament to the community’s generosity. The funds raised will directly impact lives through Glasgow Street Aid’s initiatives, supporting those in need across our city.”
Having already captivated audiences in Zurich, Lyon, and Liverpool, the show has now introduced thousands of people to the Merchants House, with many visiting for the first time.
