£4,000 grant to Faith in Community Scotland will help alleviate poverty

Faith in Community Scotland has been working with faith groups since 2005 to support their work to tackle poverty.

Their vision is of all Scotland’s communities being places of love, welcome, justice and sharing, where everyone can live their life to the full.

They have developed a strong track record in asset-based community development, building movements for change led by people & groups experiencing poverty. They do this in a number of ways, building connections between local faith groups themselves, and collectively with strategic partners.

Support provided can include staff time and presence, facilitation and project planning, advice on funding and governance, training programmes and support for leaders.
