Fashion Show Raises Over £10,000

A fashion show at The Merchants House has raised over £10,000 for Say Women charity.

On Sunday the 9th of October the Grand Hall at the Merchants House was transformed into a runway where elegant models showcased stylish outfits from Vanity Fair boutique. Compere Gina McKee kindly donated her time and kept the audience entertained whilst they enjoyed afternoon tea. View photos from the event in the video below.

Based in Glasgow, SAY Women offer safe semi-supported accommodation and emotional support for young women who are survivors of sexual abuse, rape or sexual assault, and who are homeless, or threatened with homelessness. This event raised over £10,000 which enables the charity to continue offering its vital service to young women in need of support. You can learn more via their website where donations can also be made.

The Merchants House and Vanity Fair were joined in sponsoring this event by Brewin Dolphin, Arnold Clark, Fenix Events, Dickory Dock Concierge, 1st Class Credit Union, Shrutti & Co and the William Grant Foundation. Thanks to all for their support.
