Kirking of the Merchants House

On Sunday, 1st June 2025, we were warmly welcomed at Glasgow Cathedral for the Kirking of the Merchants House.

It was a well-attended occasion, with members, Directors, family, and friends joining the new Lord Dean, Tony McElroy. Also present were Vice Dean Frances McMenamin KC, Lord Provost of Glasgow Jacqueline McLaren, and Deacon Convenor of the Trades House of Glasgow, Richard Paterson OBE.

This historic service highlights the enduring ties between the Merchants House and Glasgow Cathedral. Following the ceremony led by Revd. Mark Johnstone, guests returned to the Merchants House to enjoy lunch and continue conversations with friends old and new.

Thank you to everyone who attended and for your ongoing support of our charitable work.
