Making a Lasting Impact Through Regular Giving

From charities easing the pressure on families facing rising living costs, to those supporting adults with physical disabilities to stay active and connected in their communities, and organisations delivering equine therapy sessions, our Regular Giving programme backs a wide range of groups making a real difference across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

This scheme invites our Members, Directors, and Supporters to contribute regularly to the Merchants House of Glasgow, with 100% of every donation passed directly to charitable causes.

In our most recent funding round, we awarded grants through the Regular Giving programme to the following charities:

  • Therapet Service by Canine Concern Scotland Trust, to bring the Reading with Dogs programme to school children within the Glasgow and Strathclyde area.

  • Geeza Break, to assist local disadvantaged families combat the rising costs and increased challenges faced by offering immediate support and relief.

  • The Super Power Agency, to help young people in Scotland write their story, allowing them to discover their confidence and imagination and in turn aim to increase literacy rates in Scotland.

  • Riding for the Disabled Association Glasgow Group, to provide equine therapy sessions to school pupils.

  • Scottish Youth Dance, to help young carers in Easterhouse learn, connect and grow through dance.

  • Cerebral Palsy Scotland, to ensure people with Cerebral Palsy in Scotland feel less isolated.

  • Alive & Kicking, to support older adults and adults with physical disabilities in north-east Glasgow to stay active and connected within their community.

  • Reidvale Adventure Play Association, to deliver their Big Chef Little Chef cookery programme to children and young people who are increasingly affected by food poverty.
