The Merchants House of Glasgow welcomes Andrew McFarlane as Lord Dean of Guild

The Merchants House of Glasgow is delighted to welcome Andrew McFarlane as Lord Dean of Guild.  A Director of the House since 2015, Andrew McFarlane is a highly accomplished professional, holding qualifications as a Chartered Building Surveyor, Chartered Building Engineer, and Arbitrator. 

Reflecting on his appointment, Andrew expressed his deep honour and commitment to his new role. He looks forward to continuing the invaluable work of his predecessors and positively impacting the lives of the people in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. Being the Second Citizen of Glasgow provides Andrew with the privilege of participating in numerous civic events and supporting the Lord Provost in welcoming visitors to the city and acknowledging the accomplishments of fellow citizens. 

Andrew currently serves as a Consultant at DM Hall LLP Chartered Surveyors. He resides in Uddingston with his wife Margaret and their beloved Labrador, Bruce.
